Privacy Policy
This policy covers iqxpuzzles.com. It is written to describe what the site actually does rather than to cover every possibility, and the short version is that the tools on this site never see your answers.
Every IQ tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Your answers, the usernames you type, and your results are never sent to us or to anyone else. Nothing is saved. Close the tab and it is gone.
We do not ask for your name or email, we have no accounts to sign up for, and we do not sell anything. What remains is ordinary web-server logging and the third-party services described below.
How the IQ Tools Handle Your Data
This is the part most people care about, so it goes first.
The Real IQ Test, the Twitter IQ Checker and IQ Checker XYZ all run as code inside your own browser. There is no server on our side that receives what you type or what you score.
Concretely, that means:
- Your test answers are held in your browser’s memory while you take the test and are discarded the moment you close or refresh the page.
- The usernames and X handles you type into the checkers are read by a formula running on your device. They are never transmitted, logged or looked up on any social platform.
- Your score, your domain breakdown and your position on the curve are all calculated locally.
- The shareable result images are drawn in your browser. The image only leaves your device if you choose to save or share it yourself.
- Nothing is written to cookies, local storage or any other kind of persistent storage on your device.
Because nothing is stored, we cannot retrieve a past result for you, and retaking a test does not compare against your last attempt. That is a deliberate trade-off, not an oversight.
What We Do Not Collect
To be explicit about the things sites in this category often do collect:
- No accounts, logins or passwords — there is nothing to register for.
- No email addresses. No result is gated behind a signup form.
- No names, ages, genders or any other personal detail. The tests never ask.
- No test results, scores or answer histories.
- No social media data. The checkers read the text you type, not your actual account.
- No payment information. Nothing on the site is for sale.
- We do not sell, rent or trade any information about visitors, because we do not hold any to trade.
What Is Collected Automatically
Like effectively every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs. This happens at the hosting level and is not something the site’s own code does.

These logs are not used to build a profile of you, are not linked to anything you type into the tools, and are not shared with anyone except where we are legally required to do so.
Third-Party Services
Google Fonts
The site loads three typefaces from Google Fonts. This is the one place where your browser contacts a third party on every page load, and it means your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. Google states that it does not use these requests to build advertising profiles, but the connection is real and worth naming rather than hiding.
Self-hosting the font files removes the third-party request entirely and usually loads faster. If you are a visitor concerned about this, a content blocker will stop the request; the site will fall back to your system fonts and remain fully usable.
Sharing buttons
The result screens offer buttons to share to X, WhatsApp and Facebook. These are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those platforms unless you click. There are no embedded social widgets or tracking pixels anywhere on this site, so those companies are not notified that you visited.
Hosting
The site is hosted by a third-party web host, which processes the server logs described above on our behalf and may store them outside your country.
Analytics
We may use a visitor-analytics service, such as Google Analytics, to see which pages are read and where readers arrive from. Analytics of this kind records things like the pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and what device you used. It does not record your name or email, because we never ask for either, and it is never linked to anything you type into the IQ tools — those results never leave your browser at all.
Analytics services set their own cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics across every site using Google’s browser add-on, and most content blockers stop these requests too.
Advertising
We may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Advertising networks and their partners use cookies to serve ads and to measure how they perform, and some use them to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites.
You can turn off personalised advertising from Google in your Google Ads Settings, and manage other networks at aboutads.info or Your Online Choices in Europe. Advertising cookies are set by those networks, not by us, and we have no access to what they collect.
Cookies
The site’s own pages and tools set no cookies. Nothing you type into the IQ tools is stored on your device or anywhere else.
Cookies that do appear come from the third parties named above. Analytics and advertising services set their own, and you can control those through the opt-out links in that section. WordPress may set a technical cookie if you log in as an administrator, which applies to us rather than to visitors, and a performance-caching plugin may set a strictly functional cookie to serve pages faster — that one holds no personal information and is not used for tracking.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and in practice we collect no personal information from anyone.
The IQ tools here are entertainment and educational tools, not assessments. They should not be used to evaluate a child’s ability, and no result from this site should inform any decision about a child’s education or care.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information a site holds about you, and to object to certain processing. These rights exist under the GDPR in the EU and UK, and under laws such as the CCPA in California.
In our case the honest answer is that these rights have very little to act on. We hold no accounts, no email list and no test results. The only personal data connected to your visit is the server log described above, held by our host.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page will change with it. Substantive changes are described here rather than made quietly.
We do not maintain a mailing list, so we cannot notify you directly. Checking this page is the only way to see the current version.
